| Comments: | Hi! I was viewing the FMDSA website and saw an article on your book, so I went to your website. I too have FMD which was diagnosed after a stroke in 1999. I was 49 yrs old at the time. At first the dr. called it a migraine stroke (although I had cronic headaches, I only had migraines about once every 2-3 yrs., but I had a migraine for 5 days before the stroke). After the stroke I started taking Verapamil. I was told most people take it for blood pressure, but I take it to keep my arteries relaxed to ward off the headaches. I rarely get ANY headaches any more! You might want to ask your dr. if this medicine would help prevent your headaches. |
